Many passenger cars can fit inside a 20-foot or 40-foot shipping container, but nominal length is not enough. Measure the vehicle and actual door opening, have the ramp and used floor accepted for the load, and use a professional external winch or push method so nobody drives or runs an engine inside. If the car cannot enter and leave with no occupant in the enclosure, choose another storage solution.
Car fit test 1: the vehicle clears the real container doorway
Car fit test 2: the ramp path protects the underbody
Go/no-go test 3: the load path is accepted
Car fit test 4: the car moves with no occupant inside
Go/no-go test 5: storage and recovery remain practical
Verify the car, container and external movement method
Send the exact vehicle measurements and mass, actual container opening, ramp proposal and professional engine-off recovery plan before ordering.
